English Family Learning is a fast, efficient, enjoyable way to progress and improve fluency in the English language. We provide total immersion in English and lessons planned for your individual needs.
We offer a complete package of service and care from the moment we meet you at the airport:

We are experienced in providing:
- General English for adult and teenage learners
- Exam coaching

- Professional support with CVs, job applications and advertising material
- Language support for academic work
You will be welcomed as a guest and treated as a family friend. We invite you to share our family activities and events, and will offer you a selection of local sightseeing trips and entertainment. You can practice English conversation for many hours each day!
You will have a large comfortable room on the ground floor of our Victorian house. You have a large desk, your own sofa, and wi-fi access. You can have privacy when you want it, and be part of the family whenever you choose.
Choose a course for one, two, three or four weeks; depending on your time and budget.
Courses
In my fee structure I do not differentiate between different types of course, whether exam related, work related or general. Every student is unique, and no two courses are the same. Each course is planned in discussion with the student to fulfil his or her language study requirements. However, if you need an intensive 100% business English course, I will refer you to Lucy.
Fees are charged per week. Most students come for 2 weeks; but I am happy to accept bookings for 3 or 4 weeks if available. Course fees include; car journeys to and from Bristol Airport; 15 hours tuition per week; the use of course materials; usually a work book to take home; all meals, unlimited tea and coffee; laundry (clothes washing) once a week; a comfortable bedroom with internet access and 3 or more trips, visits, or activities per week. Towels, an umbrella and a local map are supplied!
An additional fee, the activities budget, of £70 per week is charged for young learners. This is to pay for entrance to Museums and places of interest, cinema or theatre tickets, drinks and snacks in cafes, etc. Adult students are expected to pay for these things for themselves. If your budget is limited, we can arrange activities that are low cost or free of charge.

A Sustainability Discount of £100 is offered to any student who travels from Europe by train. There are very frequent trains to Bristol Temple Meads from Paddington Station, London.
